- Doug and Judy met at the University of Connecticut in 1967, married on August 29, 1970 . . . Judy retired after 35 years of teaching in June 2009. Doug retired March of 2009 to devote more time to golf! They have one daughter, Carla, married to Steve, and two adorable grandsons, Clayton (5 years old) and Cooper (3 years old). They have one other "child" . . . a 7 year old lhasa apso mix, Roxy. They enjoy family, friends, traveling, reading, various sports, and being retired!
